Hi.

Some noises like someone drumming their fingers on something or scratching on something drives me insane at times and then other times I'm doing it myself.

" As i said its Highly individual & also there is 3 grades in this wich also decides how mush spectrum " tics " you show "

Yes he is of older age, late 40s I believe. My wife's therapist is like "I've never met your husband but from what you told me, he is most likely autistic." Yet my therapist is like "Unless you're super high functioning to the point where I can't see it I don't think you're autistic" and I really want to be like "So you're saying that myself, my wife and her therapist are all liars?"

" Yeah i had to deal with the "old guards (ie OLD school ) " my self in this and other diagnose situations so again i say ask for another therapist "

" The eyes thing yeah i cant either ,

And the terrified too see another Therapist i can understand that BUT if it helps you get some answers id say its defenetly worth giving it a try dear ."

Everyone has helped tremendously and I do appreciate it. I just don't know how to talk to my therapist about getting someone else without feeling like I'm saying that he isn't good enough.

I can't even begin to tell you the amount of things that i do on a daily basis that my wife is like "A lot of autistic people struggle with this or that." And she has done a ton of research about it because our child is autistic.

"I give you this mush BASED on my OWN diagnosis and what you have told us so far id say you DEFENETLY show some CLEAR signs of POSSIBLE ASD BUT as i said only a professional evaluation can decide this + it wouldn't surprise me one second if youre like me & also have ADHD (its more or less the norm this days to have utliest 2 diagnosis (ie MOST often ADHD ,ASD) "

True true. I definitely get that. I was on retaking when I was younger because they thought I had ADHD but it turned me into a zombie.

There is just so many thing that I want to do but don't for fear of looking weird or not looking like an aduly, like I want to spin but someone will think it's weird, I want to just lay on the floor when I feel overwhelmed but that's not very adult like.
