Been reading a good book. First book I've found that I've actually struggled to put down. I'm 64% of the way through it (ebook shows percentage) and I've only had it for a day. Normally I read a few pages and then feel fatigued, but this is some great reading.

I find it annoying that you need to heat the apartment in the winter, but too be honest I like that the sun is not that strong and garish in the winter and that you don´t sweat (that much). I always wear just a t-shirt and my 8 year old winter jacket, which is very warm. I even have to open it after some while, before it gets too hot. also the winter in germany are very mild nowadays, because of the climate change. nearly no snow and you need no boats.

Actually decent I guess. I hope you're doing well too.
I'm working at my job, going to try to resume riding-lessons (any time around horses is well spent), and currently working on my last year of college. This is about good.
I'm looking to try to make a living wage & find somewhere to live.

Also I ended up with a girlfriend whom I love very much. (It only works because she also loves me. That was some weeks ago but I didn't want to say a whole lot about that at the time.) But anyway here we are with all that.

Ready to start fermenting chilis for hot sauce tomorrow. The hot peppers are all a bright red, nice and ripe. They have a fruitier flavor (and heat!!) but I will mix in about 10% ancho for that strong chili flavor.

How am I?
That's the million-dollar question, isn't it?

The one everybody asks when they greet you, but you know they don't
want the real answer.
hmmm.... but here I can be honest. Not really well.
Hanging in though.

My automatic response is, "I'm alive, awake, and agreeable." If that gets a good reaction, then I'll say, "... and alliterative."

I'm fine. That's the phrase that always springs to mind. Because usually people asking how we are, are people who we haven't seen for a while and who maybe don't know us well.

Emotionally I’m generally doing okay, but I was just woken up by the most intense nightmares I’ve ever had. So could be better.

Physically, I’m worried that I’m going to run myself into the ground. I have too many responsibilities on my plate to just stop everything I’m doing, but I’m in pain, exhausted, and gaining a lot of weight.

Is there any short times during the day you can give yourself a little TLC? Take a walk or de-stress over a book or just have a nice time with your dogs?

The anesthesia of yesterday had interfered with my normal sleep cycle, so now feeling a little stretched thin. Uncomfortable.

Here's to hoping you get back on track soon.
