Is it cheating if you learn to play better watching other gamers?

Can you help me? I found this (see video below). I want this game but I am confused by the titles and DLC people are saying this is. How do I get to play this sniper who goes slowly through the grass?

I think I found it. I did a lot of research, cross-checked different videos for the same scene and it says it is Call of Duty 3 Modern Warfare though I do not know what mission and if it is included or DLC.

The only Call of Duty game I ever played was the first Modern Warfare in 2007. It was named Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It was good, if you like that kind of game. I remember it had at least one mission where you play as a sniper. You could get the PS4 disc of the remastered version from amazon if it sounds good. I don't see it in the PS5 eshop, for some reason.

I don't really know anything about any of the other games in the series, sorry. I only like the single player campaign in these sorts of games. I am not interested in the multiplayer modes that I think are the main focus for most players. The one I linked has a very good single player campaign.

Edit: there are so many versions of this game and even versions of the same game with extra, that I cannot tell them apart.

Yeah, I found it confusing too. Activision seems to be milking the franchise for all it's worth and pumping out a lot of games with micro-transactions. The link I gave you is the only one I know is good because I played it on PC when it came out. The PS4 remaster I linked seems to have good reviews which makes me think they mostly left it alone and upgraded the graphics. Here is a video of somebody playing the sniper mission. I misread your post, I am sorry. You said you prefer single player. I missed that sentence, read quickly and thought you were saying you preferred multiplayer which surprised me. I am the same, I only play single-player.

I found the perfect game, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2. All about using a rifle and aiming alone at very long distances. I am new to gaming so I was confused how I had it. I liked it so much I wanted to buy it, found out it was not available for sale on the Playstation website. I found out it comes free with my subscription with is $17/month. I feel like I got my value just from this game. I have not totally figured it out yet but I am making progress and the shooting is super fun.

The Call of Duty franchise is the most confusing. It is also expensive and when I checked the game size it was about 280GB. Wow. I will wait I think. I have this game for now and I downloaded others, including Moss which I have wanted to see.

The motorcycle riding game I got has been very disappointing but I own it now. It may be that I will learn how to make some changes in options and the game will look great. That happens to me with things. I say it is like thinking a fork makes a lousy spoon. When I figure out how to use something correctly suddenly it does what it's supposed to very well and I am so happy. I hope that happens this time because I spent a lot of money on the game because of the YouTube video I saw. I still cannot figure out how it looked like that there but not in the game but maybe it is in Settings.

Ride 5, the game I have not worked out yet. I was quite a good motorcycle rider in real life but in this game moving the joystick the the width of an eyelash makes the bike move violently or fall over. But I am able to ride in the rain in The UK at night I am going to try increasing the deadzone on the joystick.

It may spoil the game if there are cutscenes, but it is not necessarily supposed to be counted as cheating, as such. Although you may be giving the answer to something you should try to solve yourself. Hence it is a game YOU play, to gain accomplishments.

I agree and if I learn hard by guessing and failing and not giving up I think that is honest but sometimes I will not want to play any more because it stopped being fun because I was stuck.

Today I played for hours in Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2. I did really well but on one map I killed everybody, there is no one left at all but it won't let me leave or tell me what to do or go. There is a mortar (for launching bombs) with a rectangle symbol that appears over it when I look at it but I have tried everything I can think of to interact with it and nothing has helped.

I went to it and touched it, nothing happened. I pressed every button on the controller, it did not react. I tried blowing it up with two different explosives. The bombs went of but he mortar is still there. I thought maybe it was a goal to destroy it. A terrorist mortar.

I wandered around the map and found a bad guy's notebook and the game said it was an achievement and there seem to be other things I think I am supposed to find but I looked for hours and I cannot solve it. So I found a full game video on YouTube and I am going to skim through it trying to find this part. I am sick of staying in this map.

One game I loved more than anything had one skin (as they called it but it was a helmet) I could not find for a year. I spent maybe 100 hours in the game just looking for it, not really playing just looking inside, under and on top of everything. I got depressed. I cheated and looked online and I know to this day I would never ever have looked in that spot no matter if I played forever. So I cheated and the achievement is not mine but I was going mad not being able to find out where it was. I needed the relief.

I have already learned things about this game people are asking about on the internet because the game does not explain well. You can collect different weapons including C4 or anti-personnel mines but how to use them? I figured it out.

I want to get out of this map. I fought maybe six hours today in it and I want to move on. I need help. I tried as hard as I could and want to.
