Just completed Asperger's assessment

So he did say it ,it's like I.B.S its only called syndrome, because they don't know why or how it happens ,I don't know how many conditions come under the umbrella of Autism?
I think I tend to think in black and white, not good with shades of grey. Didn't realise it was so complex.

Blimey sounds quite complicated. Wording stuff is hard for me, I just don't want to mislead them into thinking I have classic autism.
I thought Asperger's was high functioning autism.
We use the ICD-10 her in the UK for the diagnostic criteria.
I think the ICD-11 is either coming in use or is in use, not sure.
I'm in the UK n.e.England .

Asperger's syndrome is !!!!High functioning Autism !!but the ICD 10 is following DSM V now ,that was originally used in the USA .
but I think you could be like me very !!!!!close to what is considered top of the functioning aspect, remember i was like you 5 years ago, so I've just had time to soak it all up like a sponge,I think we are called very high functioning then there's high, moderate, severe.

I don't feel very high functioning, memory like sieve, easily taken advantage of, can't tell when I am being conned, poor communication skills, no self confidence etc.

The wording is hard for me !!!!!!(never passed CSE English)but remember we are mimics !so we can remember, I still don't understand the word functioning

What I've remembered it means how much help you would need to function ,I'm also the daughter of a Solicitor so I'm brainwashed with little bits of litigation and presenting info ,sadly she's deceased .

As Gina Yashere (comedian)said she'd commuted from Melbourne to Sydney by starflight ?what she so ascerbically called "bogun (what some people call a chav in the UK)Quantas, I'm living the dream !!!!!people! ,they pack you in like Sardines"

I don't think it's complex if it's just you, I'm not you, what you experience makes you unique ,to bring it the prosaic, I'm panicking(basically I breathe I panic) if I look at the free samples of upholstery fabric as decisions are almost unbearable .

Functioning, the best way to describe it in an autistic context is some are non verbal, and some can go out and do great things.

That sounds awful.

Hello
Just completed asperger's video assessment, nice lady spent hours on me.
I asked if she thought I had Asperger's and she said it's likely, she has to write up her report.
This is good news for me if so, not bad news.
It explains a lot.
I know people are happy to self diagnose and have their own reasons which is good.
I just wanted to know if the NHS thinks I am an Aspie.

Awesome!... I hope it comes back with that assessment!
