good evening to you all, just joined today, I am in the process of exploring if I may be on ASd spectrum, I have been diagnosied with dyspraxia and dyslexia, however the more I learn about Autism, I can identify some traits in myself, I am in my late fifties, and was wondering would it make a difference in having a diagnosis ?

Welcome to AC! For me, getting diagnosed meant a better understanding of myself. I didn't get diagnosed until I was 62 and it was great.

Hi there!

There's a lot of people with ASC who share a dual diagnosis with learning difficulties like you. I don't think it would make too much of a difference, if anything it might underline your diagnoses more because the LD is common with autistic people.
