I thought I remembered it from many years ago when I lived in Spain for a time. Usually served as a tapa in bars over thereIndeed, I think you are correct. Albondigas soup is Mexican Meatball Soup, a popular dish in Mexican restaurants, of which I have, more often than not, heard people simply refer to, as Albondigas (as opposed to Albondigas soup), when ordering it.
