Last thing that amazed you...

There is evidence to demonstrate that the feeling/perception of one's own gratitude is a learned skill that needs to be developed [and can be!]. People who become adept at feeling gratitude [for general things, events, people, whatever]... end up happier and healthier.

This was amazing to me.

What amazes me is that I am capable of the the this I am, considering what I've been through.

The idea that if I use 5 lists of 20 words each, the
possible combinations equal more than 3 million.

That's why I want to make another Chomsky sentence
generator. Because of the astonishing number of
unique results possible. [And the sentence is fun.]

When I was outside an almost transparent ball (geodesic like) balloon type object the size of my thumb floated by. It rolled in the wind as it moved, and there was something quite minuscule inside, I touched it for a second, and it felt much like very thin skin.

Didn't want to interfere or damage it, so I blew on it a little, it went rolling away in the wind. Hope it reached its destination, wherever it was travelling and whatever it was.

Yesterday, my 7 year old granddaughter explained to me, how tornados form in the atmosphere. She was right on. She is the same one who is teaching herself to play the piano. Her mother (our daughter) is finally accepting the fact that her daughter might be different than other kids.

The fact that Sam from the Pub looks just as good in trousers as a black skirt, well she does have nice legs lol.

What literally just flew over my home about fifteen minutes ago. A fully restored B-17 bomber. Awesome!

Judge wow! That's cool.

Well, I'm still holding out for a UFO, but for now this is as good as it gets.

Been here for years and never seem to catch them as they fly by. ;)

The Reno Air Races always brings in the exhibition aircraft like this. Each year I hear them, but I seldom can see them. Very neat to finally catch one not only with my eyes, but my camera as well.

How rm -rf works... easily... without even thinking.

IE: How stupid I can be on no sleep.

Oh dear - did that once also when logged in as root and in /
Only realised what I'd done when I got the message "rm - busy"

That was a few decades ago.

The last thing that really amazed me was thinking how amazed I was on Wednesday that the day was Wednesday and it had been all day..... :confused:o_O
