Legos in Adulthood?

My wife and I collect lego. It is not like we have a room with a whole town or something. But we do have 3 displays with a lot of nice sets. We have different starwars and marvel ships. We have the marvel tower, daily bugle and the doctor strange house. We also have some of the statues of faces like venom, starlord, gauntlets and black panther.
My son is also crazy about lego. I was as a child aswell. My son likes to collect the lego, build it, put it in his room and let it stay complete. Sometimes he plays with the sets, but they are mostly just there for show.
We also have 3 boxes (80x45x30 cm) full of my old lego which we build and play with and seperate when we are done. I have no problem seperating the things we build ourselves. But my son becomes very sad when we do, so sometimes we leave some of his creations intact.
For context. My wife is most certainly NT. My son (6) and I both are not diagnosed but I do think we are both autistic. We are both very much like my dad (he collects busses instead of lego) in many ways and he was diagnosed a couple of years back.
So yes, it is a very normal interest for adults. And both for Neurotipicals as Neurodiverse.

Been busy/distracted lately but I meant to add something I didn't include in my op...

That being that I also was really into the Lego games too growing up, and heck even still now. Honestly took some time for me to also loosen up and get realize that it was okay to still enjoy the Lego games even as an adult, heck when I first got back into playing them again I made myself invisible on Steam so my friends couldn't see that I was playing them, because I was initially concerned that I'd be judged for playing "kid's games" but they were actually chill and not judhy about it. However my partner isn't too fond of them, he says he can't get past the humor in them.

To clarify I'm mostly talking about the various Tt liscened Lego games like the Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, Lego Indiana Jones, etc games. Though I did also enjoy some of the pre TT Lego games too like Rock Raiders and Lego Racers, the latter essentially being a Lego Mario Cart clone, but with characters from the classic Lego themes as the racers and the tracks being based on the classic Lego themes too. Rock Raiders was essentially a Lego mining sim but it was super fun actually.

Oh and I also got the Lego Club Magazine up until my father also had that canceled for the same reason he sold my Lego collection.
