List just one thing you did today

I rode my favourite old bicycle again after a four year search for a matching vintage part it needed. Lots of nostalgia - it was my main transportation for many decades and adventures.

Purchased a Swiss Army knife and leather case for my grandson. It is the same model I bought when I was about 19 or so. I’ve had mine for 50 years, so even if he doesn’t like the knife, it will have some family history behind it.

I took a short walk after a while of not doing it. Winter namely. But it just felt good to get out and remove myself from my issues. Even if only for a little while.

I linked up with one of our ORC Investigators and relayed to him additional findings to a massive case I’m helping him work. One particular incident had way more moving parts than anyone else realizes and I was the one who found them. Hopefully we can get this crime ring shut down soon.

I walked in the light rain today. It was absolutely serene. I need to do this more. It's helped me keep a positive attitude and enjoy my day.

Husband and I went fishing at our lake and caught two largemouth bass. We stuffed them with fresh herbs from the garden and lemon slices, drizzled them with olive oil, and baked them whole in the oven for dinner. I love fresh fish.

Yum! Me, too.

I managed to get the scheduling and necessary seat reservations made for my travels this Friday. In Europe you purchase tickets and make seat reservations (often required) from DIFFERENT websites. And you go to different websites for different companies, different countries.

Sounds delicious
