Me and My Aspie BF/He broke up with me. Now what?

Generally, getting back together with an ex doesn't work out. Even if it lasts for a while, the things that caused the split will cause another one.

"he's not that into you" is very upsetting for anyone to hear about someone they truly cared for. Perhaps Horses634 wasn't priority no1 for him, but that doesn't equate disinterest. I imagine it was more a case of finding the willpower to balance a relationship and school work that caused it to end

I disagree. I find that direct advice, often pointing out the obvious, can be helpful. But then I'm autistic and have a preference for succinct communication rather than long winded 'what ifs'. If the OP is offended with direct communication, perhaps seeking advice from people who are (mainly) on the autistic spectrum may not be right for her.

^^ Agree with this.

An ex is an ex for a reason. The break up reason may always be a stumbling block with a 're-kindled' relationship.

To the OP - someone else in this thread (I think Fino) advised that you don't seem to be suited to a relationship with an aspie. That was a good call.

I was referring to book and movie by the name "He's just not that into you." Sometimes a man realizes he isn't feeling right in a relationship, or just gets distracted by another potential mate. It happens. But what can result in the female half is, endless conjecturing about what went wrong, what she could still do to correct any mistakes, etc., when the evidence is clear - he just changed his mind or lost interest. Back on page 1 of this thread, he is quoted as saying as much.

When this happens the obvious choice is to move on. He already has. Sorry if that hurts to hear, and sorry if I used a cultural reference that wasn't clear.
