Medical Advice Please?

I am worried too. There are too many nasty things that can happen with a wound that serious, such as septicemia (blood poisoning), gangrene and tetanus to name a few. One of my friends was in the hospital with septicemia and he almost died. You really do need professional medical care.

Well, you're still alive and well so I guess it didn't get infected. But I would see a doctor just in case. It never hurts to get a prescription for antibiotics. Also, this may not be good advice - but you can always tell the doctor you injured yourself at home while making repairs on your house.

Oh, and I seemed to be neglecting to answer why I wont go to a doctor: I don't have medical insurance and I'm planning on getting a new reciprocating saw and circular saw with my saved money so I wont be able to afford a doctor anyway.

Priorities, bahahaha... weirdly enough, I can totally understand, lol

I completely understand the need for saving money for the stuff you love and keep you sane. But...Look from personal friend experience recently. A friend's husband was in Dubai and cut his foot badly he didn't go to the doctor right away now he is finally coming home after having to have surgery to cut out the infection and massive amounts of Antibiotics. He just thought it was cut it turned into much more. I just don't want that to be you.

Are there free clinics in your area?
