It is probably time to step in and set the record straight.
We are doing our best to appease our advertisers whose revenues are needed to support this forum.
They say keep it clean, and we try to listen.
There is a lot of work that goes into running this place, and to lose it over a few that feel the need to properly "express" themselves in the end would probably be our demise for everyone, not just the few that decided to turn tail and run because they got called on the table for using foul language that generally just gets edited.
The rules were written long ago, and at this stage of the game, I get it, they don't reflect the direction we have been headed.
I will do my best to see that they are changed, so they do say what we mean, and not open for interpretation.
If the few that think they need the modifiers in order to get their points across want to step up to the plate and provide the lost revenues, then be my guest, but bear in mind, it will get expensive after you consider just how much server space it takes to keep us going.
I don't think you really want to pay out the nose just to swear a little, but I could be wrong.
Trust me, IRL, I have a mouth on me that would make a trucker blush from time to time, but I would never cut loose with it in public unless it was about to get very ugly.
By very ugly, I mean my person would have to be threatened with bodily harm, and trust me, the bad words would only be the good parts on what the rest of the event would turn into.
Safe spaces are just that, safe spaces, and some don't feel safe when their safe space gets violated, so keep that in mind too.
Like has already been said, there is a time and a place for it, and right now, this isn't the time or place.
