mouse sleep

The mousey mischief I can anticipate, but yesterday my 2nd monitor came on with the laptop closed and no mouse action to tell me about a software update and invite me to join the rude people who made me get up when I was about to sleep.

Once back when I was at my retail job, I with somber face notified a manager that there was a mouse on top of one of the ladder carts and that it was not alive. She said that she would deal with it. She was greatly relieved when she saw the computer mouse that someone had left on top of the cart.🤣

does anyone agree that having the mouse wake up your pc from sleep mode is the most annoying thing EVER!
It is annoying, but it does not even show up on the scale of most annoying things, like the Anthropocene that I can't prevent. Wake-ups I can prevent, quite easily. Sometimes I make a mouse house for that.
