Music Video Thread

Supergrass had some great ones, like "Alright," "Late in the Day," and "Pumping on the Stereo." After seeing "Alright," Steven Spielberg wanted to make a Monkees-like show with them, but they turned it down.

The serious black and white with the pogo sticks :D Especially during the guitar solo--a nice touch.

Radiohead - "Fake Plastic Trees"

I'm not a fan of the band, but this one is really brilliant. A product lamenting bright, useless products. Putting the singer in a shopping cart. It's kind of gross and funny, like grocery stores.

The White Stripes - "Fell in Love With a Girl"

The band was never for me, but it's hard to forget this one. It's the kind of video that can make a career.

One of my favorite music videos, for two reasons. 1- There isn't enough high quality seriously silly music videos being made. And 2- It's about that magical place far away on the other side of the ocean... Massachusetts. :D

One more from my favorite seriously silly music videos list. First Massachusetts and now; Kentucky :D Eventually we should have a silly video about each state.

Dr. Dre - "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang"

I can't post it due to the content, but this might be my favorite music video. The song is like "I Get Around," updated for a different culture. I also can't think of another video which sells a lifestyle like this one. It's like a short film set to music.
