Naked and Afraid (the series)

I've watched that show several times, mostly to roll my eyes and laugh at how stupid the contestants are. I've seen a couple of shows where people got badly sunburned, got hurt, got sick, or couldn't mentally handle it, and were taken out by the film crew.

Back in my youth when I was an experienced and strong camper/hiker/skier, I could have done it but these days? No way!

Since the contestants can bring one thing with them, I'd chose a cooking pot with a lid so I could boil water and cook things to eat.

There's some strategy here. I think you can coordinate with your partner because I've never seen two people bring the same things. If it had a metal bail instead of a handle that could be used for something. The lid itself might be of the right curve and shiny enough to start a fire. Extremely useful object.

I saw one show where the only reason they could continue was that they allowed to survivors to "find" a shiny new cooking pot in the middle of a swamp. Not an old hubcap or an empty soda bottle but a fresh off the shelf, 5 quart, steel pot and lid. It was so painfully obvious they could not go on without a water container.

Some of the people really were skilled wilderness survivalists and you can tell. Others are just selected for dramatic (comedic?) effect.

I would have no clue what I would be doing, but I like being naked over being clothed, but I think I'll try it out off camera, and have proper camping equipment set up.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they have rules against that type of activity.
