Looking forward to sharing experiences and information

I am a mom of three "only" children - 31, 21 and 9 year old. The 2nd two were diagnosed with Asperger's. Was simply looking for more information to become more knowledgeable. 21 year old daughter was diagnosed late at age 15; the 9 year old was diagnosed at age 4. We live in Texas.

Oh, we are going to be in Baltimore, MD next week, if anyone is interested in getting together for a meet-up.

Welcome to the world of the aspie :)

Hello and welcome. I am sure you will find that there is a wealth of good information here and a lot of great people.

Hi jagette, welcome to our community. I have noticed that there are quite a number of mums here who have children on the spectrum, so you are in good company for sharing and support :)
(We even have a hug bank!)

Welcome :)

I've added a few links to hopefully aid your search for information.

If you have any daughters on the spectrum, I highly recommend this one. It's quite informative: Aspergirls: Empowering Females With Asperger Syndrome | AspiesCentral.com

If you haven't heard of Dr. Tony Attwood, I recommend reading up on him. His advice is highly respected, and sought after, in the autism community: Home
