Odd or Socially Taboo Obsessions and/or Interests

I have always been interested in child murder cases. I have "favourite" cases, such as James Bulger, Jonbenet and the Dunblane massacre.

I too have had various odd obsessions/fascinations at various stages over the years. I can understand Loomis when you mention the nazi atrocities. When I first saw (as a teenager) footage of the liberation of the camps I was shocked and horrified. It wasn't until years later in my mid 30s that I became fascinated about how the nazis saw the world and other people rather than the terrible things they did.

I also have ( what some people might consider odd) a fascination with urban decay, grafitti, ugly buildings and general grime which I think about every day so I guess it could be described as an obsession too.

I for sure have what others would deem "taboo" or slightly inappropriate obsessions.

I am pretty much obsessed with women and their bodies. I think it's doesn't help that I am Male and because it's something different and it's something I'll never really know 100% because if I did, I think that the interest would decline. Boobs, bums & legs are where my interest lie and if they are tattooed, then I'll pretty much be in love hahaha. I at one point had a few hundred GB worth of photoshoots of models varying from just glamour girls to alt models to limited porn. The irony in not using photos for anything other than to look at, as photos don't do anything for me. The obesssion isn't so good when I feel really compelled to either talk to the person about the thing I like about them (Hair, Boobs, Legs, Bum) or just the full on need to touch... Which thankfully has not happened.. yet :-(

1) I wondered does anyone have odd socially taboo obsession and or interest?

2) Are Aspi's and PDD-NOS more susceptible to fetishes or socially taboo obsessions and/or Interests than those without autism?

(1) Yes, I do, I love to examine social failures in life and I openly emulate some aspects of them.
(2) I think so, given that we lack a social awareness of socially accepted stuff to like and not to like, unlike NTs. Gomendosi said it right.

I have a weird obsession towards Kevin Federline, the ex of Britney.

I don't know why. Perhaps I like the baggy shirt and shorts look?

As an amateur figure artist, I have studied anatomy to almost a medical level,* more particularly eidonomy. And I'm not afraid to explore related topics like some forms of sexual choreography, while treating the whole subject modestly. Not being a medical professional, my depth of study makes many people uncomfortable when it leaks out.

I, too, have heard that fetishes are common among ASDs, but I do not have any (as I understand them).

*Many of my figure drawing books were written by medical illustrators. Even Michelangelo was known to study cadavers for the same purpose.

Addresses. I just find It very fun to look up an address, then look at a bird's-eye view of the house. I've been called a stalker many, many times.
