old movies worth to be watched?

If we go further back, then:
"Harvey" with Jimmy Stewart and Helen Hayes
"Midnight Cowboy"
"What's Up, Doc"
"Bridge over the River Kwai"
"A Bridge Too Far"

not old movie, but I watch sonic the hedgehog 2 right now and the jokes are more made for kids...

sonic: did your bum turned into a helicopter?
other hedgehog: haha, like a bumcopter
me: oh my gosh... *cringe*

other hedghehog: everyone in town found my double tail weird
me: umm... okay
sonic: I know that feeling
me: o.O

If old movies are creeping in here's a few;

Passport to Pimlico
The Lavender Hill Mob
The Titfield Thunderbolt (this is a cult film in railway preservation circles)
The Ladykillers (the original, not the awful Hollywood version)

I'm not sure if this was already mentioned, but

Time Bandits (1981)

is one of my all time favorite films.

They Live.

You start watching and you think this so going to be a bad b movie but it's written by John Carpenter and it's magic.

Plus it has one of the best lines in movie history: "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum."

The Lost Boys is one of my favourite movies of all time of course it takes its title from Peter Pan's Lost Boys who will never grow old and never die.

And The Burbs is comedy gold too. Plus I have always had a bit of crush on Carrie Fisher.

That movie is funny. :) Corey Feldman sitting on the porch with a date watching his neighbors messing up lol The 80s was a great decade for comedy.

I watched hundreds of movies and series so far, sometimes it feels like I already watched everything with good quality and it´s hard to find something new that favors me. but I already find something and here in this thread you posted many good movies too.

I only saw Roddy Piper and Andre The Giant in one movie each but both are great movies. Both gone now but the were great entertainers. Piper especially.

Die zwölf Geschworenen/12 Angry Men from 1957. only one room nearly the whole movie and black/white, but very exciting.
