Oreos

I wonder when people say "if you restrict a certain food all you will ever think about is that food"

One therapist gave an example of Oreos. To be honest, it's not natural, it's super processed, we're not designed for Oreos!

I would rather be eating whole food carbs

Honestly, this used to be a cookie I would get alot of. But I cannot convince myself to have those anymore. Alot of it is my shift in diet, plus the knowledge of artificial stuff in it.

Plus Oreo does weird stuff, like the visually egregious Lady Gaga Oreos.

So no. I ain't touching those cookies with a 1,000 foot pole.

Lady Gaga has fibromyalgia, Oreos and processed food like that with aritificial nasties and empty sugar calories are the worst for that condition. Shock horror that a celeb probably doesnt use what they endorse lol

We always want what we can't have.
Hmm i agree to a point. However I cant have a Ferrari but I dont spend all day wishing for one. There comes a point where I forget about the food if its been long enough but if i go back to it then a binge is likely.

I used to be a diet coke addict but now i never even think about it and actually if i do i have no desire for it. That might be slightly different because its an addiction to sweetener rather than sugar. The thought of that laboratory chemical brew is actually off putting but if i went back the addiction would kick in again

Also on top of the egregious Lady Gaga Oreos, they did Orea thins, which is also very egregious! Who wants less of the filling?! You'd have to be a weirdo.

I didn't know she has that. But I can only imagine what that artificial crap does to a body with those issues.

This is a pretty weird Oreo:

I like the Swedish fish candy, but putting it in Oreos is just weird.

Oh yeah. Let's take a candy and turn it into a oreo. That TOTALLY will not completely go wrong for us.

I mean, seriously! That actually sounds even more disgusting. What's next? Carolina Reaper Oreos?

Thanks. You have accomplished the impossible. You have turned me off Oreos.

I think I tried one once about 40 years ago, but I can't remember very well so they obviously left no lasting impression on me. This is what you really want: :)

I'll bet you guys down there have vegemite flavored Oreos and other weird things. ;) Outback Oreos with kangaroo flavor. 🦘😆
We only see plain Oreos here, and only in the international section of some supermarkets. They're just not a popular thing here.

But yes, we do put Vegemite in quite a few things. Vegemite and Cheese Scrolls are a popular bakery treat, and of course we had to but the same flavour in biscuits too. (crackers)

It says on the box, "Flavour you can see"... I don't know exactly what that means but I love it. 😄 That's gotta be some seriously strong flavor.

There was a thread here about macaroni with cheese. I wonder if macaroni with vegemite and cheese could be a new dish. 🤔
I never thought of that but it sounds like something we'd do. A quick search found lots of home recipes for it but no commercial product. You can also get Vegemite and Cheese Spread and sliced cheese with vegemite already in it.
