Outfit of the day thread :)

For today, just hanging around the apartment, khaki shorts (don't know the brand) and a grey tank with navy trim (I think the brand is Bella+Canvas, I got it, and a bunch of other colors, on Amazon.)
I have some Bella+Canvas shirts :) One of them is a dog training hoodie that I got on Etsy.

Here it is :)

Of course I couldn’t go right to bed without showing a picture of my fox socks first ;)
Goodnight

I love the Bella+Canvas stuff I've gotten. Proper fit, a ton of color options, and not too expensive.

Here's today's outfit of choice for just hanging around my apartment. Cargo hiking shorts and a B+C tank.

@Gerontius I think you will like this blazer I got for myself for $1 :)

If you can pull it off, go for it! A dollar for anything decent is a good find; the buttons alone are worth a dollar if you do any sewing or alterations.

I usually avoid synthetic fabrics because I end up sweating even more than usual (from the deep south--we get used to heat down there) but they can be handy esp. if you want to present a little more polished look. Funny thing is I have a jacket a lot like that made out of a dark blue denim--the patch pockets on the front will hold anything you stuff in them. The jacket I have has three buttons though. Out of fashion, but I like them.

There is another jacket I have somewhere that's the same color but it is linen--and therefore wrinkly. As in, "an elephant used it for a Kleenex" wrinkly.

Apparently that brand normally retails for $100+ but since it has a “stain” on the back the person was selling it secondhand for a dollar. I say “stain” in air quotes because it is a pretty microscopic white spot that looks like it can be scraped off. I don’t get how things like that ruin the value of clothes so much. Especially for that drastic of a price drop

I can pull off a pretty big variety of looks :)
My taste varies and is not limited to a particular style.
I was going to pair that jacket with a gray sweater and white buttoned shirt underneath, high-waisted light wash jeans and some brown boots. :)

That denim jacket you were talking about sounds awesome. I have an assortment of denim jackets in different styles and colors. My favorite is a light blue motorcycle jacket with lapels and a side zipper. I think I got it at Forever21.

The stain devaluing it that much is crazy; nobody notices. It's rude to stare at someone's back & go "You have a stain, A STAIN I SAY--" Nothing makes sense with the whole deal here. You definitely got a good deal.

I LOVE that outfit, Loren!! :)
The jeans and the belt compliment each other so well!
You would like a store we have in my town called Madewell, and that’s also a great look you can get at J. Crew :)
Thank you! I like Madewell. The only items I've purchased there, though, were a pair of tiny, gold, heart-shaped earrings and a long sleeved teeshirt. I have a couple, J Crew, collared/ button-down shirts that I have had for years. They used to have a timeless style to their clothes, however, that seems to have changed, somewhat. Perhaps, it is temporary. I don't shop often, but, perhaps, will give them another try in future. Anyway, thank you for mentioning both, and for your nice compliment. I have enjoyed viewing your/ everyone's clothes, and this was a nice idea for a thread! : )

@Loren Nice outfit!
Those shoes look really comfortable and are perfect with the outfit.
What brand are they?
Thank you, watersprite! They are Clark's desert boots. Perhaps, hard to tell, because I've had them for quite a while and I've, actually, washed them, on a couple occasions.

Yes, exactly… I’m inspecting it to see if there’s anything else wrong with it
It’s authentic to the best of my knowledge. Hopefully the stain isn’t something questionable that would severely decrease the value/quality.

It would be super rude to point out that someone has a stain on their clothes! I would be horrified if someone did that to me.

Outfit of the day for dog walking and going to training class :)

Salty Crew hoodie with printed front, back and sleeves, womens plus size Realtree Xtra hunting pants, and Lugz hiking boots.

Not my outfit of the day today, but will be for sure when it gets a little bit warmer outside :)

- Blazer is Criemieux, it is the one I got for a dollar because of a weird stain lol

- White shirt is Ricky Singh

- Sweater is from Primark

- Jeans are high-waisted “mom jeans” from Asos

- Belt is Dockers

- Boots are from Call It Spring

I’m going to wear the jeans high up on my waist (huge stomach :/ ) with the belt, and over the sweater (shirt goes underneath.)

This is probably the classiest outfit I will ever wear without putting on a dress lol

@Loren and @Gerontius This looks like it would be your kind of thing :)

I usually dress down, but I thought I’d try a classier look for a change :)

Very nice, Luca! It's nice to see how much you enjoy putting outfits together. I bet you'd make a great stylist to those in need of one. :hibiscus:

Thank you Loren!! :) I think you could be a stylist too! I think your style is great.

Aw, thank you. I'm, actually, not the best with fashion. But, it's nice of you to say. I am so, very simple and my clothes are all alike. You are much more creative and versatile, and you do such a nice job, putting outfits together. :herb:

Are you sure it`s rude? I would rather that you tell me I have a stain somewhere so I can fix it, than walking around with a stain all day long. :) Please tell me lol
I would be really embarrassed if someone told me I had a stain
But I guess if someone has better self-esteem than I do, it wouldn’t seem as rude lol :p
