Picture Hunt

I've always enjoyed Alphonse Mucha. I had a chance to go to his museum in Prague with my sister.

An overwhelming museum display

This is in a Catholic shrine in Portland Oregon, called The Grotto. It is a statue of Joseph holding baby Jesus. I really like it. It was the first time I ever saw a statue of Joseph, let alone, one of him holding Baby Jesus. It makes me smile softly and almost cry to imagine Jesus having a stepdaddy who raised him right, teaching him integrity and honor. As a single mom (not by choice), I have always known the deep value of a father in a child's life. So this makes me really happy.
