I saw a map of Alaska that was burned with a cutting torch out of a section of pipe that used during the building of the Alaska Pipeline.

All of the key areas were stamped into the metal and it was a very exacting map.

From what I understand, the off time of the workers generally offered little more than drinking time for the majority of them.
This guy decided to make better use of his time and created a work of art :)
 
I have some mixed feelings about pictures of highly organized living spaces. I love looking at such pictures. It is so very satisfying to look at them. But I am reminded of how terribly incompetent I feel sometimes, and also very jealous, because I have ADHD and I've always struggled so hard with organization.
But I'll play along anyway. :cool:
