It's more efficient than you would think.
The really sad thing is that it's not the animals' fault they're an invasive species. It's the humans' fault for bringing them into an ecosystem that isn't equipped to handle them.More so than a lot of people want to understand. We've gone to extreme lengths to try and control them here, and then pet shops are allowed to sell them without them being desexed.

We've built thousands of kilometres of fencing. We developed a strain of virus that was supposed to wipe them out but then idiots in the eastern states offered free vaccinations to anyone with pet rabbits.
We also have a similar problem with cats. It should be illegal to own either in this country.
