In old English life and death were described differently vows in English especially in christian wedding ceremonies are archaic in practice for instance death was described thus if you were buried you were sleeping in your grave or the person had been asleep\slept for a period of time ,so to live was from a different mindsetWhy do wedding vows say: "So long as you both shall live..."? Shouldn't be "Until one of you dies.."?
As long as you both shall live? A marriage ends when one person dies. The other person remains living.

I went to New York City for the Westminster dog show a few years ago. While I was in NYC I used the subway trains a few times.
Turns out that a “personal item” fell out of my bag and got left on the train…
Do you know how many people take the subway in NYC every minute?? Lol
At the time I was really mortified, but now I think it’s funny. Someone probably took it home
