I can relate to the following:

2- I can’t stand bright lights especially fluorescent
3- Loud frequencies make me irritable and feel overwhelmed
4- Large Crowds I can’t stand
5- A room full of people and all the noises is to much for me
6- Loud Chewing , really bothers me . Especially my dog , always wear headphones when she is eating
8- Very sensitive to smells
12- I sleep with pillows on top of me - I used to do this, but not anymore. Had a fear of bugs going in my ear whilst I was asleep
13- I have to always wear socks even to bed most of the time
14- The sounds of markers coloring hurts my ears - The squeaking noise? It doesn't hurt, but it does annoy me.
21- I have trouble folding clothes and towels
23- I don’t like to be a passenger - My dad used to drink drive and give me lifts. My mum is a very anxious and emotionally erratic person, and it shows in her driving.

I always had a thing about breathing in other people's exhaled air, so crowded rooms and public transport really bother me. It's the same thing in busy shopping centres, so I tend to walk very quickly and hold my breath as I squeeze past people.

I can relate to the plastic bandaids but not because of the texture, it's because they won't stay stuck. Cloth ones stick better.

I don't wear underwear because I can't stand the feel of the elastic. I also won't wear stretch denim for the same reason, it feels like wearing a wetsuit. I also can't wear nylon, all my clothes are cotton or silk.

I don't have any real issues with food, except for peas and beans. I like them raw but can't stand them when they're cooked, it's a texture thing.

Some very high pitched sounds cause me extreme physical pain, not in my ears but inside the middle of my head.

Ahh yes, breathing in people's exhaled air. When it was cold last week I noticed people's breath and it suddenly unnerved me that I might be breathing in their exhaled breath. Not from a COVID or disease point of view - simply because I viewed it as absolutely disgusting.

This too. I’ve ultimately been forced by my dad to rotate out what I eat those days though.

@mysterionz they make a squeaking noise when used to colour in. I'd imagine it's a pitch thing. Mind you - solvent based markers have the added issue of stinking to high heaven. That odour gives me a headache very quickly. Similar to gloss paints. Horrid stuff. No idea how people can abuse such substances when their odour is so overpowering.

I don’t really have issues with the markers I use (copics) emitting bad odor for some reason. Maybe it’s with the cheaper brands of solvent markers.. some of mine start to squeak when ink is running out and I have to refill them.

I never had an issue with solvent smells, in fact it was a part of my job as a printer. I can probably identify around 20 different solvents by smell, and also tell what solvents have been used in blends. Only one solvent ever bothered me, Toluene.

But the perfumes people wear, that's an entirely different matter. I find the smell of most perfumes and soaps disgusting and offensive. I hate washing my hair because I can't stand the smell of the shampoo.

In such a wasteful, throw away culture - we need more refillable items. I often thought bottles and cans of drinks should be replaced with self-serv style drinks dispensers that you get at fast food places. The amount of bottles and cans produced at present is around 2 trillion drinks containers made a year. That isn't sustainable.

Ed

When I was a kid drinks came in glass bottles. The bottles had a large deposit on them, they got returned to the manufacturer and were washed and refilled. We didn't have to take them to some special recycling centre either, you just took them back in to a shop and they were as good as cash.

What they call recycling these days is just a wank.

I have lots, too many to list, I think. One is that I sleep without any pillows. Also I have a thing about shops not giving me a plastic bag to put things in. I take my own bag. People sometimes think that's strange.

My copic marker dried out :(

regarding the sound of markers, copics don’t make that squeaky sound that much unless the ink color is drying out

I hate being touched.

I hate having my space bubble perforated. I physically recoil when people do this.

I hate loud music, saxophone music makes me cringe, as does the majority of jazz music, rap is physically painful to hear.

I hate artificial and/or strong scents (floral stuff I'm horrendously allergic to, think Darth Vader breathing in under a minute.) Food smells I'm okay with.

I don't sleep under my duvet, I sleep on top of it with a couple of throws over top of it and my huge tie fleece blanket. I don't like unmade beds.

I always wear a hat outside. I fail rapidly in direct sunlight. Major light sensitivity. I usually go out at twilight or in the early morning.

I hate pajamas in public. If you've been ill or dealing with a family member similarly afflicted or have just escaped a house fire, then yeah, it is a mitigating circumstance, but I'm judgy about the issue. I get up, bathe, and dress if I interact with people in any way, shape, or form.

2 to 8 and 27 is me!

Labels and things like that, do annoy me and can irritate me too, but not always. If they are huge, I do cut them off and when I feel annoyed, I cut them off.

Oh geez I could make a real long list of stuff like this but I'll try to keep it trimmed maybe:

1. I have to wash my hands a lot. Like, A LOT. I'm super paranoid about it.

2. If someone touches any particular food even slightly, even just on one little corner, dont expect me to eat any of it, because I wont.

3. I wont wear or even touch anything with buttons or snaps on it. Needless to say, I dont wear jeans. Sweatpants, during the winter, those are warmer anyway.

4. Speaking of warm, I dont like cold places or things. So I'll often have the mini heater on and even during summer I sleep with a heavy comforter.

5. Cant stand too much silence, so there's always gotta be something or other making noise nearby.

6. My dog's breath smells like distilled evil. That's not really a quirk or phobia, it's just something I'm noticing at the moment.

7. I dont like "complicated" food, if that makes sense.

8. Wont eat most meat products. Not because of some opposition to the concept, it's that most of it smells/looks/tastes bad to me. Except tuna. Tuna is victory. That doesnt make a whole lot of sense, but it is.

9. I really, REALLY dont like riding while someone else is driving. I hate not being in control of a vehicle I'm in. This presents a rather obvious problem when on a plane.

10. Cant deal with anything that feels like a weird medical issue. AKA, anything I dont immediately understand the cause of.

There's others but that's probably enough for now.

Oh, wow, that sounds horrible... the whole world is a minefield of potential issues, right?

I don't have this whole load of sensitivities, I think. I got lucky there... I don't like loud or squeaky noises, but I can tolerate them . I have no especially sensitive skin, just stuff touching my neck can be an issue.
And I don't mind dirt and germs, either: exhaled air, touched food etc.: I always picture quite vividly how my immune system and stomach acid will filter and clean anything that comes in.
