Riddles

Ask him if he knows the answer. Thanks.
Sorry but it's been a real bad day in a real bad month, and I'm at my limits, but I'm sure others will do better! I really do have to log off fer the day.
You sadist! 😉

Ok, have a good night. Hope you feel better soon.

I like a riddle. Solving them is fun and making them is even more fun. However, this thread has become too chaotic to keep up with; therefore, I shall probably not be posting to this thread anymore.

I understand your position @FayetheAspie. Personally, I do not mind much of the humor as riddles often have a humor and light side to that related talk. Riddle threads thus may or may not be really serious. However, my concern is with calling person's names, and certain dark or offensive topics, regardless if done using humor or not. I myself do not get bothered by such but others may. I do not think any poster here intended harm to others though, so that is what I focus on. Just be more careful I would say with your words and any insults, done using humor or not.

Well this ain't right at all! It's your thread @FayetheAspie, not fair if it's been subverted. If I've shared in doing that (probably) then I can only apologise.

However, my concern is with calling person's names, and certain dark or offensive topics
"Dark and offensive" are subjective and that's for people to call out at the time, seems unfair to expect such a motely crew to know each others intimate feelings. But insulting? Hmmm, this I hadn't picked up on, really? If that was me I'd deeply appreciate knowing for future reference.

Let's just get back to solving and creating riddles. If anyone has future concerns with any statement or how something was said yes they should state at that time, even privately if need be, so as to not derail the thread. We all have different sensitivities and personalities so give some leeway to posters as they are trying to be themselves, find fun places too to post, and to follow forum rules.. Not all want though to see serious or repetitive threads all day long, so they could be looking for places to more relax, be more creative or to be free more with who they are.

So, any guesses anyone to the riddle below?

This riddle may last to eternity,
so keep guessing one by one
I fell out of an apple tree
but oh was it a lot of fun.
After arriving late though, you see
I am now boundless energy.

What am I?

A specific book I meant, sorry. That could lead one to the answer
But to be clear, it was like a sequel book series, so two books may be needed to know the plots to put one and two or the A, B, C's together, if wanting to solve that harder way. There is an easier way to solve though by just looking at the riddle, with no book research.

Bit tricky then, because it relies on the book being available and popular at time of childhood depending on country. TBF so many possibilities with no way to filter or cross reference unless the first three words had more involvement in a non literal manner.

The only good clue is one that gives me an instant and totally unfair advantage! 😏

The plot though I sort of put in the riddle, which could lead you to one of those books.

Tip #3

The easiest way to solve is by finding two words in the riddle that are sort of like synonyms, then finding a synonym of those.

Answer: Infinity

The two children’s best selling books were Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Chicka Chicka 1 2 3. The first book involved the alphabet letters racing up a coconut tree, but they fell out after the tree weight caused it to bend down. The second book involved numbers climbing up an apple tree, with a certain number saving the day. It was not #8, but number 0. Eight did arrive late though according to the author so I put that important clue in the riddle.

The twist to the riddle (when I changed the author's plot some) was that I had this item (8) fall off the tree, as seen in the riddle.. I wanted the puzzle solver to imagine it got squished and lay on its side then, to create the answer: infinity. So that was the harder way to solve. The easier way to solve may have been just to look at the riddle and to see the answer may have involved counting, and after combining them with words “boundless” and "eternity”, in the riddle, that could have resulted in an “infinity” guess and correct answer too.

I could never have got that one. In fact the clues made it harder! I've never even heard of those books, never mind know the contents. You is a merciless riddler! Wait 'til you get my therapy bill!
