No. It can however be an acceptable answer if you can explain how it solves the second part. It could be something that I am not currently knowledgeable about that you do know.
 
Polymyxin B would be my final answer. I know that and the petrolatum answer I gave prior are used for infections, and both are used in forensics. I do not know if it can help prove cuts. I think I heard it on the oj trial long ago or another trial though they are involved in contamination type cases from.wound injuries and crimes involving bodily fluids.
 
Hydrogen peroxide was the answer.

Ok, I remember my mother long ago (while she was living) often put hydrogen peroxide on wounds we had and it would sting and fizz up
These days apparently it is less common to use as many medical persons think it actually slows healing.

I know some birds that bark or that do not walk, but those ones hunt for prey. So I give up on my end.

The time of year that it is caused me to think of this one. I had an answer in mind then thought of a second one. The current time of year could remind one of either.
