Solar Eclipse, USA 2017...

It was 70% here in Vegas, however nobody here would actually be able to confirm this because the one day that we are having an eclipse, the whole valley was covered in storm clouds. Thunder and lightning storm clouds. I want a rain check.
 
I'm in a lucky spot here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. When does it start?
Just kidding I didn't miss it! I can't imagine it being any more fantastic, other than it being longer.

I was in a small, Oregon town called Huntington and I saw 100% totality for 2 minutes.
 
I was a little disappointed because I thought I hadn't captured any of the eclipse images I wanted so dearly.

As it turns out,I was very mistaken.

What I thought was the actual image was in fact just lens flare obscuring my desired images :cool:

Don't feel bad. Even at totality, when the light output was much lower. I still couldn't get a good picture of it either.
