I have Lion King theme in my head...

So sad about the Rhino horns. Good to see the elephants still have their tusks.

Whats the context of the fire?

The Rhino's are dehorned every year, the decision was made after a few horrific poaching incidents to try and protect them.

The fires are done in blocks every 4 years or so to regenerate the nutritious grasses and prevent out-of-control wild fires.

The Australian aboriginals did this for thousands of years.
