Song Dedication Thread

I'd like to dedicate this song to all members from Singapore.

Supersonic by Oasis. Not a Singaporean band, but this is something which could mean something to autistic individuals in Singapore, in my opinion.

--- --- ---

'Cos my friend said he'd take you home
He sits in a corner all alone
He lives under a waterfall
No body can see him
No body can ever hear him call

Yep. The under-appreciation, I guess.

I'd dedicate 'That Afternoon' by HK-born and America-based singer Kiernan McMullan to my friend, Tigris.

'Had it all figured out, that little girl makes my world crush down that afternoon'

Oh, that little girl is indeed a common friend we had, a female who gave us lots of insights we don't really see as well as she does.

Duran Duran - The Chauffeur

I'd like to dedicate this song to Aillas, Let's Talk About Love by Celine Dion.

I love all 3 versions I heard: first the English version, then the original French song by J.J Goldman (which I don't quite understand, but sounds quite sad) and then, a Mandarin cover.

Dedicated to whoever wants this song dedicated to them. :) Or I could just dedicate it to those that are feeling sad.

I'd like to dedicate this song to my parents. They loved the Mandarin version by Tracy Huang, while I also quite like the French version though I don't understand it.

I'm dedicating this song to everyone here, it's a classic called Imagine by John Lennon.

7 million views (even with Vevo!) for a 40 yo song must really show something.

Hope the world will live as one.

I dedicate this song to Geordie:

It's one of the Beatle's lesser-known tracks, but is one of their best.

I'd dedicate 'Is There Something I Should Know' by Duran Duran.

Please please tell me now, is there something I should know? Lol

I'm dedicating 50 Tyson's 'I Ain't Gonna Lie' to everyone here on AC, who deeply lives and breathe our very own talents.

I hope to dedicate this song to my fellow friends who have depression. You''re not alone! This is the original song of alienation.

"I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry"

Hear that lonesome whippoorwill?
He sounds too blue to fly.
The midnight train is whining low:
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

I've never seen a night so long,
When time goes crawling by.
The moon just went behind a cloud,
To hide its face and cry.

Did you ever see a Robin weep,
When leaves begin to die?
That means he's lost his will to live.
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

[Instrumental break]

The silence of a falling star,
Lights up a purple sky.
And as I wonder where you are,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

Dedicated to anyone who's feeling sad and hurt (I frequently feel that way, but not to the extent of being real depression)...a couple of different arrangements of a piece of music that's been there for me through some hard times:

Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain, by Fred Rose, sang by Hank Williams

I dedicate this song to my 'girl'... whom just 'broke up' with me.
