I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates this song! And I hate this...
Goodness, that song is awful! I had a pain in my back last night and if the pain was a "song" this would be it!Hands down the WORST song of the 2010s. "Despise" is a great word for it because I can't hear it without getting angry.
When I was in my early 20s, everyone liked to play this song at parties and I hated it so much that it became triggering lol
The first time I heard it I thought it had to be a joke. It was another one that charted here, like not just on the charts but one of the top five songs, I believe.Goodness, that song is awful! I had a pain in my back last night and if the pain was a "song" this would be it!
It's weird as there seemed to be a rash of songs around this time (I think the ones I posted are of a similar vintage) that were just plain awful. It was like they had picked the most irritating elements they could, recorded them and released them. The first time I heard it I thought it had to be a joke. What is wrong with people???
HAHA! i like some of the human league's work for the cheesy 80s factor of it but this is a good example of the extreme lows of their discography lol.I cannot stand The Human League! Especially this song.
This may be silly of me but I cannot stand much of contemporary music, or contemporary classical music. I don't like the way pop music sounds; not the reliance of prominent and loud bass, nor the auto-tune of voices. I don't even understand the words, or honestly the notion of dancing to music--I've always been mystified by dancing.
Ha! I understand very much what you mean. Maybe it's also an extreme sensory issues, but I also can't stand when people hum, whistle, or sing (especially off-key) to music which is on the radio. My ears don't like it and I just...get irritated.I don't get the use of autotune as an aesthetic device. It sounds like a robot drowning.
