Special Interests are Expensive!

I want to spend money on traveling and visiting my various friends all around the USA. Adulting makes that kinda impossible for the most part in my case.

But more realistically, I probably could budget for personal training sessions at my gym.

AGREED!!! I have lists and lists in my head of things I'd like to buy the people I love.
Thats such a mom thing, mine ones said she thinks buying things for herself is a waste.

I can carry out all my interests (mostly math and computerscience) with a laptop and an internet connection. I also do some weightlifting but i can do everything with a bench and the couple dumbbells i have. So I don't have anything to spend money on.

Fun obsessive interests include martial arts, books, and horses/dogs. Those are all very expensive! However, my most pressing obsessive interest right now is taking care of my physical and mental health. Healthcare in America is INSANELY expensive!!! I'm on Disability, I can't even afford to see my one therapist as much as I need to.....

Don't take this post too seriously, it's kind of a rant, and besides, I'm halfway joking.

But it seems like everything cool that I want to do costs a lot of money!

What special interest would you like to pursue, if you had the cash?

I always wanted to pay experts to explain everything to me about a subject. Because I was paying them so much they would not complain about so many questions or that it was boring. They would make a lot of money and I would finally be able to know everything I want to.

That sounds a bit like college.

I love my special interests from basketball layups/underhand free throws to ice cold baths and fasting.

The most expensive special interests of mine are my NBA/basketball merchandise. I collect basketball shoes (retros like Jordans). I collect basketball jerseys (current and retired players). I collect hats (Mitchell & Ness) of my favorite NBA teams. Just last month I spent over $600 on those things.
