Teen Movie Reviews Please

We watch a lot of good classics like Napoleon Dynamite, Goonies, Labyrinth, Neverending Story, Star Wars (the good ones), LOTR, Karate Kid, Back to the Future, Disney's, etc. But those have been seen 1000 times in our house.

I just recently showed her Legend, Beetlejuice, Sixteen Candles, and Ferris Buehler. Those were fun too.

Thank you everyone for all the suggestions! If there are more, please let me know.

Here is a very good resource that provides information about a movie's profanity, sexual content, violent content, etc.

Some I remember back then that I liked as a teen besides the Lost Boys one you mentioned were:

Dead Poet Society
The Boy Who Could Fly
Stand By Me
Big
What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Ferris Buellers Day Off
St. Elmo's Fire
The Breakfast Club

Oh I can't watch Gilbert Grape "I killed him, Gilbert!" It's such a sad movie. I never could see Ninjaturtle Dicraprio as a teen heart throb either. When everyone was mooning over him from his work on "Titanic", all I could see was Arnie, and think about his poor mother.

Personally I thought he was miscast for Titanic. A fine actor, but I thought his boyish looks were out of place for the Jack Dawson I envisioned to be paired with Kate Winslet's Rose DeWitt Bukater.

Now in middle age, I can finally see Leo taking on any number of roles as well as being behind the camera.
