Just understand that Star Trek TNG was a series lasting seven years.I'll check it out.
So he is not a constant every or near every episode character then?Just understand that Star Trek TNG was a series lasting seven years.
So that's a lot of episodes to parse for one occasionally seen character.
Correct. So he is not a constant every or near every episode character then?
I always thought of Reg Barclay's social anxiety to be the most prominent of his traits in most scenes in Star Trek TNG.Similarities between the two that I see
1. Anxiety
2. Awkward interactions though perhaps in a slightly deferent way there are obvious overlaps in their mannerisms as well
3. Escape from reality (For Murdock this was done via pretend play and for Barclay he had his electronic gadget false reality thing that they discussed. Not sure what this gadget was like exactly but basic description kinda reminds me of Edward Nygma's invention in Batman Forever before he started using it's other feature to absorb other people's iq. )
I think that Murdock hides alot of anxiety and trauma behind his playfulness. I remember the time he was bothered by people hitting golf balls because it reminded him of being beaten in the pow camp. You could see the concern for him in Hannibal's face during that scene.I always thought of Reg Barclay's social anxiety to be the most prominent of his traits in most scenes in Star Trek TNG.
He had a regular segment in our afternoon cartoon shows, about 15 minutes every day. He wasn't just some TV celebrity either, he was a serious physicist who spent years working with US aerospace industry before coming to Australia and working with our government's scientific branch. Is that a series? Looks interesting. I remember making scientific discoveries as a child during summer break or something only to learn the next school year or so that someone else had already made the discovery years and years ago.
Yes. He was the pilot.I don't remember the episodes much, except that cars were always flipping lol, and maybe some helicopter, i remember Mr T had fear of flying, and the bad guys seemed to always survive getting shot at,
I liked Hannibal and Mr T the most. And the black van.
Murdock was the pilot right?
The main music theme is good too.
Christopher Lloyd played Doc Brown as well as the Klingon Captain on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. When I think of "mad scientists" all I can do is grin and think of Dr. Emmett Brown.
Inventor of the renown "flux capacitor".
Oh I remember him well as one nasty Klingon! Guess he wanted to be less typecast.Christopher Lloyd played Doc Brown as well as the Klingon Captain on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, the crew used the ship they obtained from Klingon Doc Brown to go back in time.
