The Asperger's & Autism Community Café!

I thought we could have quiet, contemplative, live music on one floor, so I hired a Marachi band.

Now about those bugs you killed. I get it, and you can't share living spaces with certain ones, but you did I hope hold proper funerary services for them? And send invitations to their living relatives? A small memorial cemetery outside the cafe, with possibly a bench and shrubbery would be a nice touch.

What about some background music playing in the shop? I would go for some good rock music but everyone has a different taste on what they like so that may or may not be good. Also it depends on this factor and that is if some people are sensitive to too much noise in a confined area and would like total quietness. Music would still be cool though!
This was what I was thinking too - perhaps a separate room off to the side so it doesn't disturb other people. CDs too, of course.
Yes, a separate music room would be great. Or even more than one. There could be separate rooms for different kinds of music, such as a rock music room, a classical music room etc.
Speaking of music rooms, a music room for actually playing music would be great as well. There's a piano and other instruments in there as well as books with sheet music and other stuff for making music. One can go there on their own or several people can play instruments or sing together. We could even do concerts at specific times for everyone who is interested.

We should also have some headphones for people who want to listen to music but still stay in one of the quiet rooms, so that they won't disturb anyone who prefers silence.

I'm thinking something like this (Not my own photo, borrowed from internet):
Yes, and amplifier and surround speakers :)

...Oh ...My.
These sound systems...
In all these rooms...
This is gonna be...

I'm gonna step out back,
then could someone please point me to
The Moody Blues?

The rooms for music could be soundproofed studios. As well as another large area as a gathering place for concerts.

We could take over a complete university campus. It would have everything, grounds with gardens, dorms, kitchens, separate places for reading, a library, labs. We could convert the classrooms into quiet rooms and some sensory rooms like this one:

We may wish to ask the Mayor of Aspieville if he knows of such a place. I understand that he's well-connected, and is about 19 years old--- he had his sweet-sixteen in 2015;)--- so it's likely he'll be helpful and supportive, not being all old and stuck in his ways yet. Does anyone know how to get in touch with @Nitro ?
This is starting to get a little exciting...

I think you misunderstood the part about the sweet sixteen party, the neighbor girl had her sweet sixteen party that was an outdoor affair with a bonfire.
I attended it in my vintage long-tailed tuxedo complete with an honest to goodness oldschool bull dick cane.

It was a lot of fun telling her highschool friends what the cane was made from :p

I have the music venue covered in Aspieville if the new place can't handle the traffic.
Aspieville Entertainment Complex

We put a lot of thought and effort into Aspieville to make it the perfect little autism spectrum town.

All right, all right...
Just know that I wasn't going to tell anyone that it wasn't your sweet 16!:D

I, yeah... cane... uhhh...

Are there any unused campuses or resorts in Aspieville that we could make use of?
Who knows? It may even turn into something of a year-round resort town!
That'd have to be good for the town coffers, and a fantastic retreat for those on the spectrum.
What do you think, Mr. Mayor?

I've had my share of that drudgery, lemme know when you get tired, and I'll have at it... WAIT! It was always us grandkids doing the cranking! Saaaaaaaay...
I might be on to something, here...

Comfy sofas and comfy chairs! All those straight-backed things... We need cushions!
Know what? That corner under the stairs,
Lets fill it with bean-bags and big fluffy pillows. You can still reach that bookcase, and if we hang some beads... There.
I'll just be in here, relaxing, maybe reading some Sagan. Coffee! We have coffee!
Be right back! (Jumps up and skitters through the doorway, pokes his head back through and says) I like it here! Anyone play chess?
I play chess. Game on!

When I was younger we would go to Wheeling, West Virginia to a club called Tin Pan Alley.
It featured video gaming, pin ball, dart boards and pool tables on the first floor.
If you went up to the second floor, there was a discotheque with a live DJ.
The next level had a live rock and roll band, so the place had something to offer for nearly any taste.
At 18, we all thought we were so cool and living the dream back then.

We should incorporate this type of theme into the cafe.
