The Last Thing That Made You Smile

I checked out a nearby animal shelter that I would like to volunteer in. As soon as I gave the woman at the front desk my resume, I took a look around. It must be kitty cat heaven in there, because there are like 40-50 cats and kittens there, and the whole place is roomy. I hope I hear back from them.

I had a bit of a rough day, and when I got into bed tonight, my dog immediately started snuggling me. That made me feel a lot better and made me smile. :)

QueenOfFrance87 is the cat in your profile picture Kiki?

That's actually something I found on Google. This is Kiki:

Can't find the lat happy thing thread?
the last few Star trek shows made me happy they were quite nice!
I liked the Seven Borg children plot allot...how about a Borg dog? and can Seven make a nice Borg family collective?
I thought leaving the empty Borg ship behind was a plot mistake tho...Voyager doesn't know how dangerous the new territories are that it has to travel through so it would naturally collect space ships, people, and resources and weapons to survive new unknown dangers ahead.
Also the Voyager would try very hard to get guides through up coming unknown territories...this would naturally all lead to Voyager offering to guard space merchant convoys through dangerous territories in return for maps and guide info on strange alien Empires.

This plot writing method is called chaining or layer cake!
one thing lead to another thing which leads to another thing and so on!.......
Chain connection Logic!

Also Voyager's crew is not keeping weapons close enough on board to repel a teleportation beam boarding attack...I hate teleportation but if you use it use it right... why attack with heavy ship weapons when you can just do a sneaky boarding attack to steal stuff, grab hostages, or take the ship over?
Space suits for hull breaches are not addressed nor used enough in space battles..make a suit with flip back hinged helmets so you can keep the actors faces visible with the helmet off most of the time.

The space battles are not really fully developed yet after all these years!:(
To writ e deep plot you must immerse yourself fully in the universe logic of your character fully...you must see feel and guess how he would choose to survive his universe!
Natural lines of opportunity drive what people choose greatly!

It makes me happy to think on such riddles!:)

This video and this band are so adorable, this put a big smile on my face.
Worth a listen and watch even if you don't understand the lyrics.

Re-meeting ('reunited'... not sure what word to use) someone from my old art class at college in the art gallery and having a laugh/catching up on things. I had a few difficulties in upkeeping the conversation, but he's very talkative so that helped and he knows I'm quiet, so there was no pressure except for trying to look relaxed and talk about myself which is challenging.

I was helping out with the recycling bins at the Warwick Folk Festival early on Monday morning and I saw this amazing tent:

That's one VW that won't need any cheating to pass emissions tests!

Hey Maelstrom,

I'm guessing you like Star Trek. I saw this the other day. I don't watch much tv but, it looks like it might be kind of cool. Its the trailer for the new Star Trek Discovery.

thank you!

I missed allot of the later shows because of school and being out in the country and stuff.
They just started replaying them up here on a new channel with the digital split.
Actually I love Star Gate more but I have seen almost all of them.
Babylon 5 was nice too...saw most of it as well the Ending was terrible tho...

I love the old Battle Star Galactica I wish they would put that and Buck Rodgers back on...the new one is not so good but I only saw a few of it before it went Cable...
When ever they have a good show it goes Cable and you have to wait forever to see it again...?
A pox on Cable....!:p

All I have is free view local TV as well...with a little Religious Dish TV...GloryStar!
I don't normally watch much TV but life hasn't been kind lately and I needed to distract my mind from all the disappointments, one can only take losing so many dreams a one time.

I hope you are doing well @Streetwise ?
