How about you guys? Can be anything.
Oh last week I ordered the Street Fighter 2 animated Japanese movie on Blu Ray, was dispatched from an Amazon Marketplace seller today.

I bought a $10 sewing machine at goodwill.
This was to convert to electric or hand crank but it has no motor attachment spot as it is from 1893.
So I bought the treadle irons and 5-drawer oak cabinet as well and now it looks like a sewing machine again. Still have to get it working but it's almost ready to sew.View attachment 112483
Yes, it will get worked just to see it do it, but I will mostly just drive it.This is awesome.
Everything about it is awesome. Looks like a regular working tractor not too restored. Will you plow a field with it one day just to try?
You mean like this guy for example? Is his name Björn? Or maybe Lars? I had no idea you guys could just order a Swede that makes waffles over there, that's impressive.

It sounds really cool, the small one. I took the machine and started scraping the paint off with a razor because it was flaky and chipped and rusting badly.I actually have the exact same Singer sewing machine The table it is attached to is just a little different, smaller.
The oil could be close! to rancidI passed the food coop over the weekend and I bought a few things there. One different thing I bought was some bulk sunflower oil. People donate used glass jars there to be reused, and I filled one of the jars with the oil. (Unfortunately, I think I may be allergic to sunflower oil, because I made some pan fried potatoes with it and got a stomach ache.)
Try ebay.com someone may have the right singer model for parts only price theres nothing new thats better than the originalsIt sounds really cool, the small one. I took the machine and started scraping the paint off with a razor because it was flaky and chipped and rusting badly.
I'm really excited about having a full size, freestanding sewing-machine and will probably take the next six months and kit it out with the right paint, Sphinx decals, nickel trim (dare I hope for nickel?) and some modern accessories and attachments.
Apparently these don't have a bobbin, they use a vibrating shuttle. (my other Singer, a portable 99K electric, is from the fifties and has a bobbin.) Vibrating shuttle technology has been obsolete since the Sixties but I can order a replica. These sound like so much fun to use.
Looks weird with parts missing but I think I want to make it workable and use it as often as I get an excuse.
That's amazing. I want one.
