The last thing you bought?

In the future, my plans for the packaged cars is to display them on the ceiling perimeter of my livingroom.

In the packages, of course.

@Nitro - My brother had a Plymouth Barracuda in high school. It was a pale-yellow color. He loved that car!
Mine was silver with a black interior.

On top of being a very specialized version, mine was modified to run on dragstrips.

It had final drive gearing that made it silly to drive on the street and had the trap speed time tickets from the long gone Pittsburgh International Dragway that proved that it was capable of standing start runs of consistent 11.29 second quarter mile runs at 110 miles per hour.

PID was where I was first introduced to NHRA dragracing.
It held the distinction of being a NASCAR sanctioned dragstrip for a couple of years.
It seems that Bill France, the founder of american stock car racing saw the success that Wally Parks, the founder of the National Hot Rod Association had and wanted in on the game.

NASCAR legend Richard Petty actually owned a Barracuda that ran there as a NASCAR dragster.

I eventually sold it because there were too many horses in my stable to begin with.

I cast the I Ching to find out what's gonna happen in the future.

It told me that there is thunder in the heavens and fire in the valley, which means that stuff's gonna go bad, so I bought two extra giant packs of toilet paper.

If stuff doesn't go bad, I won't have to buy TP for a while, but if it does, there are always TP shortages.

I usually don't take this stuff entirely seriously, but toilet paper is cheap, doesn't go bad, and gets used, eventually.

I have your TP beat,... Bottle Bidet

Recently bought this mini clamp meter because I needed a smaller, one with finer resolution, than the one I already had. Works great!

I pre-bought a "Beautiful Dancer" lotus plant for spring.

(Lotus plants sell out by March, so you have plan ahead).

40 rare earth magnets with hooks.

I keep several vehicles outdoors under poly tarps.

Every two years, the UV light eats them alive and each spring when the wind picks up, they turn into sails and either shreds them to pieces if they are tied with ropes, or as I have done the past two years is leave them untied but held in place with old cast iron brake rotors.

When the winds pick up, the rotors get tossed to the ground and the tarps end up on the ground, and or shredded again.
The bigger the tarp, the higher the price tag.

I formulated a new plan.
I intend to hold smaller tarps down by tying them off to these magnets which were advertised to have an 80 pound pull. (36ish kilos)

Smaller tarps are less expensive and in the event the tarps turn into smaller kites, the magnets should remain attached to the tarps.
The brake rotors will still remain a part of the equation, but with the tarps held fast to the sides with the magnets, it should reduce the chances of them turning into destructive sails from not being tied fast with ropes.
The game plan is to reduce both the tarp damage and the replacement costs.

Wish me luck ;)

Upping my wardrobe with Harpcore harp stuff:

There was a shirt with a porcupine playing harp, but, for some reason, the porcupine is using a stick to play the harp, and nobody (except maybe John Cage) does that. I'm autistic and that bothered me enough that I didn't buy it.
