The last thing you bought?

Wow 76! He was/is my all time favourite martial arts movie star. I'm sure you know he was a good philosopher too. Hey Rich, be like water my friend.

I just bought some platinum bond fabric glue on Amazon. It had good reviews for using it on denim, and I need to put belt loops on my new jeans. Would have sewn them on yesterday, but the bobbin case decided to disappear from my mom's sewing machine for no reason whatsoever. No one's touched the machine since moving here; it's just gone. :/

Yesterday I bought a 99p DVD from work, and a Disney Princess money box from work, I also bought a foot long Cheese and Ham Subway sandwich, small Coke and crisps, then I went to Cineworld and I bought a Magnum and another Coke,

Today I bought a TV magazine and a Double Decker chocolate bar.

Two boxes of glue sticks. Two sheets of arches watercolour paper 22 X 30, two sheets of cold pressed smooth st. armand 10 X 14, four sheets of mohawk hot press. Exacto blades and one canvas. Phew, glad that's over.

I don't buy much for myself, but I was at Cardiff Comic-con a while back and picked up a superb limited edition, signed print of a series of illustrations based on the tecnical specifications of the ED-209 robot from the original Robocop films for a tenner. Very pleased!

My favourite books ever. Love them - it's what kicked off my interest in Quantum Physics! Couldn't get my head around the film, although it was originally scripted by Douglas Adams...

I contributed some mechanical engineering to SLAC when I was a puppy :D

I'm looking forward to reading them... I wasn't too sure on the film, but I'm sure the books will be better

I just paid like US$50 (yes fifty dollars in total) for some prints on college. I can't stand study from powerpoint presentations from my computer and I have to print them so I can understand better.

That the Accelerator at Stanford, yes? Awesome. I'm planning a trip to the LHC for my 50th! Wanna meet ATLAS...
Correct :)
The ring collider was the answer to the speeds needed for that type of research ;)

Not to brag, but I have posted in the past that I have either designed or manufactured something that has touched every living soul on our planet in one form or another :p

Just paid £4.99 for a pair of UK size 10 black Slippers in Shoe Zone at Meadowhall (see the thread I did 5 minutes ago in off topic)

Lots of stuff to make a short crooked garage tall plumb and level.

Brag away! Gotta love physics!

£5 of Amazon credit. Okay, bought isn't the correct word since I actually tried to buy a Christmas gift for my grandpa. The first day it was supposed to arrive nobody turned up and I got an email saying they tried and failed to deliver it. The next day a driver turned up with the paperwork but the package wasn't on his van. Then I didn't get any other message from them. A few days later I contacted Amazon and they tried to handwave the problem by saying it was external factors such as the snow and heavy rain we had here even though that had nothing to do with my issue. Instead of any help they told me to wait until a certain date and then ask for a replacement if it hadn't arrived.

10 days later it still wasn't here and I had been given no notification or information from Amazon and had to dig around and ask multiple people before finding out it was never coming, the reason being that it was lost in delivery. They then tried to blame the royal mail even though it was delivered by their own drivers. I complained and cancelled the order, got a full refund and £5 on my next order for the trouble.

Wow, that's really poor service :( I've not had trouble like that from Amazon and hopefully I won't
