Things which have made you happy lately

I got invited to a friends house party/gathering on Boxing Day. I rarely get invited to these things so I'm pleased that I got asked to attend. It should be interesting.

Im a little bit surprised of how well finances should be for me in the near future. Pleasently surprised. Now lets just hope I dont surprise myself with financial stupidity in the near future as well xD

One of the things I'm happy about...in general...that facebook and twitter didn't exist when I was young

Seeing Misty's brother Buddy earlier and the fact that he clearly thinks the world of his owners and they love him too. I still think about him and Millie but I'm glad they're both settled.

Most of the foreman at my warehouse are probably going to get fired. So who's going to get some extra hours, pay raise, and possible promotion?

This guy :)

My new reciprocating saw. Skil brand 8.5 amp corded. Screw batter power, I can cut 2" sheet rock with this baby ;) $78 well spent. It should keep me busy for the next week.

RIP my old reciprocating saw AKA "Suzy"

Me discovering that the latest stable version of Tab Mix Plus is what was responsible for Firefox hanging every few seconds. I updated to the developmental version of add-on and the problem has vanished completely. This whole bloody time I figured that the problem was with Firefox -- not with an add-on.

I had to endure that hanging BS for nearly two months. And now it's gone.

You wouldn't believe how happy this has made me.

there's one thing that made me happy today, my younger son was able to put puzzles together and match shapes and colors without any issues. A few months ago he wasn't able to do it, he wouldn't pay attention and wouldn't know what to do. I know for a lot of people it might sound like nothing but for us it's a huge achievement.

One of my out-of-state friends asked me what some of my favorite games and movies were, then called me on Skype 15 minutes later to play some impromptu tunes on the piano to cheer me up.

Glad that loads of people are using Pale Moon because of me. :D

Talking to someone I like on a near-daily basis.

This person has stopped talking to me and I have no clue why. Man, do I ever hate mysteries . . . :(

(Maybe I should have saved that for the Things that bother you thread).

I was a bit confused at this for a second, I'm guessing its really not something that's making you happy?

A lot of people I would notice on these forums would be really active then suddenly stop. I always wonder why that happens.
But I'm guessing the reasons are always personal on their end.

It definitely didn't make me happy. They were the only person I was speaking to daily.

I feel overwhelmed when I talk to too many people, but quickly become suicidal and feel like I'm going insane when I have absolutely nobody to talk to.

This tumblr erm.. 'account'?

There's a lot that I can either identify with or at least understand. And it just shows that a lot of people (besides the people on this forum; aka familiar faces) have such issues. And that it's not just "me".

That kinda makes me happy... cause for what it's worth, as long as it's not just me, it's something people just have, and that can and should be considered.

1. I'm happy with my new Ipad.

2. Also got my date for moving to the UK, which is in July. I'll be able to catch my mom then, and she can help me move/adjust. :)

Oh, also... what made me happy. I'm not single anymore. Yay me!

But a fair share of familiar faces already knew that one from either the shoutbox or from facebook.

Are you moving to the UK permanently or just temporary?

The thing that has made me happy lately would be going interrailing throughout mainland Europe with a few friends. It should be great fun but looking at the website I sense that there is a lot of stuff to be planned.

Yes this will be the permanent move.

So I have a month to spend with my parents, while they help me with various things like getting my NHS card (and catching up on all the healthcare I've missed because...yeah...American healthcare), going to a job center etc. So i'm happy to be able to catch them. Moving is difficult enough, and I do still need a kind of "support" with lifestyle changes.

The super bowl made me happy!... I think... ? I dont know. I hate both teams with a brutal passion. Yet slightly hate the Giants less and they won. So... Yes. Yes Im happy.
