Vegetable Examination

We shall have a rocking good tea time. ;) I shall follow with the evidence that plants are sentient, communicate with each other, and feel pain. To be followed by accusations that vegans crunch baby bean sprouts alive between their teeth. Any raw vegetable is alive when eaten. I’ll stop now.;)

[Absolutely no offense intended.]
We will! Can you eat gluten? I'll bake some very good cherry cobbler or chocolate muffins! And yes, vegans know that, because it's a typical response we get, when we say that we're vegans :D But we still prefer to chew on something, than die from hunger! ;)

There are many, many memes about it :)

I can eat gluten.
Cherry cobbler will be welcomed. I miss cherries where I live.

But are you getting this “response” from an Aspie, who could bore you to death with the details until you give up in desperation and agree to eat at least some eggs. ;)

But at least carnivores kill their food before they eat it. What you do to a baby bean is analogous to eating a calf or lamb alive. Which is what most carnivores do.

I happily eat almost anything, acknowledging that in order for me to live, something must die.

My autistic vegan boyfriend would disagree, and I can see you both having a talk about it, but alas he is banned, so he can't answer. :)
