Playing through World of Warcraft's new expansion, Legion. Really liking it, interesting quests, choice of what zones you can level through at what time. I'm taking my time to go through it.

I got 100% completion on Gita vice city. It's ridiculously difficult.I'm currently playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City. I've done pretty much everything to do in the GTAV story mode and wanted more so I bought the GTA trilogy (consisting of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas) on the playstation store. It's frustrating at times. The two missions currently open to me are a boat stunt trial and a rescue mission to save Vance and I can't do either even after watching youtube videos and reading walkthroughs.
I thought GTAV spoiled me enough with the graphics, characters and story but they also let you skip part of a mission if you fail so many times.
Late to the party but I finally got Minecraft on the ps4, played the tutorial so I know how to craft and other basic stuff but still don't really know what to do.
I play on PC. Yeah, PC has mods, mini games, free texture packs and custom skins, etc. also, on PC the world size is essentially infinite and gets all the updates and new content first. Once you get into the game more, you will start to see the endless possibilities.Valentine what system do you play on? I feel like the lack of mods for console versions takes some of the fun out of it because unless I'm wrong PC users can share and upload their worlds for others to download and some of them look so good. There's also mini games. The PS4 version has battles and some other mini game but I've seen people on youtube doing hide and seek and death runs, I guess they're probably possible on consoles but I don't have the experience to make one yet. The ability to download them would be good, I'm sure you could share custom worlds and games on Disney Infinity on the PS4 so they should allow it on Minecraft too.
Mostly I just want to not look like the default character without paying for some skin packs.
I was referring to the PC version of minecraft being specifically different. But since you mentioned it, my PC (a Cybertron Minotaur II) has WAY better graphics than any Xbox or PlayStation. I've played Skyrim on all three for comparison. Furthermore, Xbox runs on windows.... and the new Xbox one is literally hitler since you cannot play offline at all and you cannot play without the camera spying on you. It's ironic that you complain about windows then immediately give kudos to Xbox.....Smh @ PC Master Race, consoles > PC gaming, same or better graphics as a top end PC with stupidly expensive graphics card, don't have to upgrade every 3 months to keep up with rising spec requirements, and no annoying problems with Windows.
Viva la Xbox!

I am playing in the snapshots myself, and zero bugs have affected me so far. I agree that the worst thing about console based minecraft is the severely limited world size. Half the fun is from the infinite world. Amplified is my favorite custom vanilla world type. I honestly want mods in the snapshot version, I may try a few.Aye, there are quite alot of differences between the versions. Some content is outright missing from the console versions, and other bits are.... heavily limited. Hell, I looked at some comparisons of current versions... for example the Nether, on the console, is about 600x600 blocks max size (....wut). As a player that tends to use the Nether *alot* this would drive me up the wall really freaking fast. 600 blocks is.... nothing. But then there's the third dimension, The End. ....nearly all of it is missing on the console versions as of right now. You can go there, you can fight the dragon, get the egg, and generally do what little there is on that one arena island, and that's it. On the PC version, once the Dragon goes down the REST of the End opens up via a rather bizarre portal that appears. End Cities, ships, Chorus plants, Shulker mobs, beacons, and the much coveted Elytra wings can be found in this massive place, among other things. Granted it's dangerous as all hell (made up of many islands with nothing but void between; fall in and not only are you dead, you permanently lose everything you were carrying) but there's alot to do there now.
Not to mention snapshots, which are effectively development versions of the game with new content put out for players to test. Right now, recent snapshots have added things like Illager mansions (super late-game dungeon area villed with evil Villagers called "Illagers", which can do crazy stuff at you) among other things; these will be in the 1.11 update, but they can be played now by those willing to deal with the occaisional bug (oddly, I find that bugs with these versions are actually very rare).
Consoles of course will get all of these things eventually (er... probably) but it seems to take a really bizarrely long amount of time for this to happen. Why, I have no bloody clue. They wont get snapshots though, they only get completed updates, even if it does take a long time.
And then.... yes, mods. Or mod PACKS, which is how they're often run. Which can contain a deeply stupid amount of content (20000+ new items in some of them, for instance....). My own version of the game is currently modded to drastically increase the difficulty, and also have "roguelike dungeons" and loads of new biomes (I'm after an enhanced yet vanilla experience with this setup, not using a "pack" here). Mods are usually easy to install (usually). Online servers can do lots of things that they cannot on console (though, this comes with... issues at times).
Also, Amplified worlds. It's hard to explain exactly what an Amplified world is, but... I'll put it this way, you need one hell of a beast of a PC to even use one without a terrible framerate or outright crashing. So even lots of PC players cant run that world type.
Lastly, Command Blocks. Which can do basically anything if the user has enough skill with them. Just as an example:And that is from a year ago, command blocks have been drastically improved since then (and there are now 3 types instead of just one). They're extremely technical things though... the vast majority of players will never use them.
Of course, none of this means that the console versions are BAD (though, again, the damn size limits...). One way or another, it's still a bloody fantastic game regardless of platform. Even the Pocket Edition (phones, tablets). I have that one, I think it's quite good for what it is.
But yeah, for the "full" experience, getting the PC version is highly recommended. Alot of fans have multiple versions though (I think I've got like, 3 versions? PC... Pocket... Wii U). The game is just that good. I think so, at least. Regardless of the version, there's just so much to do and so much potential. I could seriously ramble about Minecraft for pages and pages, it's my favorite game, period. I always recommend it to everyone regardless of what they're using.

Yeah, that's why I quit ftb infinity. 1.9 was out for a while and it was still running on 1.7.Aye, mods very rarely work in snapshot versions unfortunately. However people are starting to be able to update their mods so much faster now... you can at least get mods for 1.10 already, and that hasnt even been out all that long. Lots of them, too. Used to be that a new full version would come out, and you wouldnt REALLY see mods updated properly for like a freaking year (not an exaggeration). Now, even modpacks are often updated super fast.

I'm thinking I'll just put together my own modpack manually. I have a lot of favorites that are in 1.10, some claim to work in 1.11 even though it's not out yet.Yep. FTB hasnt gotten much better. A look at their site says that nearly all of their modpacks are STILL running on 1.7. Which is three freaking years old now. There's ONE new one, the "Unstable" pack, which is 1.10. But everything else... 1.7. It's lame. Entire game mechanics are outright missing when going to that. Hell, you go back to spam-tastic combat when playing those. No extended End, either.
It's a pain in the butt to install mods one by one, sure, but... right now it's easily the best way to do it for those that want to play 1.10. Fortunately the things have gotten less and less finicky over the years, so it's muuuuuuuch easier to do now than it used to be. There's lots of cool mods out there for 1.10. Stupidly, this DOES include TONS of the mods that are used in those 1.7-only modpacks. Which makes the issue with the packs seem that much stupider.
