What are your current obsessions?

Usually when I pick up an obsession, they stick with me for life. Sometimes they "back off" a little and come back in full force. Like Kingdom Hearts.

Hoping I can connect my PS2 to my iMac somehow. The resolution would be ABSOLUTELY BREATH-TAKING. I have a 27" monitor... Still haven't beaten KHII.

It's kind of hard to tell when something reaches the point of being an obsession, but I've been getting seriously wrapped up in Youtube videos about old games I used to play growing up and new things coming out. Kind of weird how fast I got sucked in honestly, probably only been about 6 months since I started and I quite literally don't watch anything else these days (aside from the occasional marathon viewing of series on Netflix like Battlestar Galactica). I have all my subscriptions setup and I check my home page to see if there's updates 3-4 times a day lol. As a result I've found myself clamoring over Steam sales and such too, constantly checking to see what the discounts are like on games these videos have got me to add to my wishlist. Probably haven't even played 70% of the stuff I've bought, just couldn't pass up the deals when they came up!

Somebody please help me!!!
I have just finished watching almost every documentary on documentaries.net. My obsession is out of control.

:P

try documentary storm & documentary heaven! There are MORE OUT THERE!!! (can you tell I share your obsession?)

RED!!!! RED SOCKS!!! RED NAILS!!! RED OTHER STUFF!!!

Been hearing drums in my head ever since I watched a movie on the American Revolution. Not sure if that's an obsession. Happens especially when I'm marching...uhm, walking...and at home sometimes.

Wanting to hug a woman. Touch is important for humans. I haven't said anything to my female friend about this. But recently she suggested we should hug in her bedroom one of these nights. Today on the phone she told me she put up decorations in her bedroom for me. I'm looking forward to watching a movie while hugging her. I usually rub her shoulders & back as I like doing that.

Money is short this year (as usual), so I've been making some of my Christmas gifts. The problem is, I have three things on the go at a time. Does anyone else have problems finishing one thing before moving on to the next?

I'm really into classical music (especially piano solos) i listen mostly to chopin and i also really like rachmaninov and beethoven. I'm currently teaching myself how to read music and i thought myself some bits of pieces from youtube videos

Owls especially the (supposedly) extinct Laughing Owl of New Zealand but other Owls too but I like most birds I just seem to be obsessed with nocturnal birds (I often wish we had the Common Potoo in my country, it has such a weird but fascinating call). I'm into classical music (I cant read music but find the patterns of it fascinating), my favorite pieces are The Pines of Rome by Respighi, Gaspard de la Nuit by Ravel, the Grand Canyon Suite by Grofe and An Alpine Symphony by R. Strauss.

Sandwiches! I am technically off of my diet but I am cautiously enjoying bread! :bounce:

I have been to Subway like 3 times this week to get the Subway club 6 inch. I really hope the next time I get one they give me more pickles.

Oh and fruit because it's back in my life. YAY! That diet was really evil!

I seem get more interested (or obsessed if you will) with Hordes and Warmachine (both tabletop miniature games) rather than Warhammer (arguebly the biggest game within this type of tabletop wargaming).

Oh well, as long as there's paint involved I can't complain that much :)

So many obsessions, so many categories! But, if i were to state my most tremendous obsessions, it would be Mah-Jong, 3Doku, Min3D, fascination in augmentation of diction and discernment (as expressed in the sentence :geek: ), 80s-90s Action/Adventure (i.e. MacGyver, Quantum Leap, et alii), and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

My obsessions fluctuate a lot! I'm really into trying different makeup products (currently going through a fragrance stage), I love rabbits and everything rabbit-related, I get way too interested in creative ways to save money, and I'm often obsessed with a particular game at any one time. I bought myself the new Animal Crossing game for Christmas and a 3DS so I can play with my little cousin who lives on the other side of the Atlantic - the console hasn't arrived yet but I'm still ridiculously excited to play it!
