What are your feelings about Valentine's Day?

I never have been to big on holidays, however my wife is. I got her a nice card and a heart shaped ice cream cake. Tonight we will go out to dinner, probably early so we can beat the crowds. I hate crowds.

As I am single with no girlfriend now, I have little need to celebrate it. I certainly won't begrudge others the privilege though. I do believe in biblical realetionships between male and female. That is the love celebrated by Valentine's Day. Enjoy the day with your girlfriend, fiancee or wife & thank God for putting that person in your life. Jesus Himself said For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and thaw twain shall be one flesh. Matthew 19:5. I'm too broken to marry, yet I celebrate it because God Himself instituted it for our enjoyment, as we are created for fellowship.

The worst day of the year. Based on my other threads I am sure that one can figure out why. I pretend that 14 February does not exist.
