What are your plans for the New Year?

I'm going to start looking for an antidote for my SJW poisoning.
The who world has gone insane with their political correctness.
My avoiding racial and gender-based slurs (which I don't want to use anyway) isn't enough anymore.
Can't say Merry Christmas because not everyone is Christian.
Happy Holidays is wrong too, because not everyone celebrates other holidays and not everyone is happy. The latter sure is a big surprise (sarcasm).
Maybe we shouldn't say Happy New Year either, because not everyone celebrates the new year on Jan 1st.
And what's so happy about the New Year, anyway? It's always the same as the old year, full of war, greed and stupidity.

Where can people not say "Merry Christmas"? I've heard that a lot but never seen it in action. I hear "Merry Christmas" everywhere I go. I read that it was a myth that people were offended, to make liberals look bad or something.

Earth's orbit does not have a beginning and end. The calendar is entirely arbitrary.
Hmph!

Nah, I'm not that bad. :p
I don't know what plans I should have though. I would like to get the amp for my bass guitar and get practicing with it. Also work (and spend) on my bikes more, and see if I can get away for a week on my touring bike when the weather warms up.

The PC flag waving Guardian readers need to shut up IMO, no one cares.

I'm hoping to finish edits on my story and make it into something much better than it was - I'd also like to polish the other story I wrote in the meantime. I'd also like to look into studying something again (maybe BSL but the classes are on awkward days) and I agreed to teach my sister Japanese at some point, which would be nice because I'm pretty out of practise.

It's not a myth - it's mostly to do with businesses. Such as, those fellows ringing bells with donation buckets - some businesses will not let them use the term Merry Christmas. Sometimes someone will decorate their home with "Merry Christmas" or a manger scene and neighbors will sue to force them to remove it and so on. "Peace on Earth' no longer exists in this country.

Why would "peace on earth" not be said?

New Years Eve - tuning into a satellite camera feed of Times Square and watching the ball drop.

For the new year, almost anything has got to be better than this year has been. Between the battles with my ex and the house, my daughter ditching me permanently, and some serious medical issues, this has got to be one of the worst years of my life. Hoping for better next year. Looking forward to better. Healing up after this surgery, getting the hiatal hernia fixed so I can eat normally, and hoping that takes care of everything for awhile. My daughter turning 18 this year and graduating and the end of 16 years of child support and court battles. Getting my shop set up in the garage since I got the house to myself now. Doing some restoration and repair on my cars. Doing some work on a couple of my basses. Possibly playing with a band again.

Maybe a CAREER CHANGE.

I am wanting to take up Autism advocacy and mentoring as my new career working with Autistic adults aged between 18-30 years.
