What did you do that lifted your mood today?

I was sitting in the car on a parking lot with the radio playing when the space capsule was coming over. They said look to the NW, and you should be able to see it from the Florida west coast where I was at.
The sky was clear blue, but I didn't see it.

Got busy with projects.
Spent a few hours with weedkiller, trying to eradicate some invasive plants that are poisonous to the horses.
Got closer to completing the wiring update on one of the old cars.
Blasted a set of slot-mags so I can powdercoat them in a few days.
It helped to keep my mind off of a few recent social faux pas.

If you love exotic fruit YouTube shorts, then he's your guy. 😅

I want that sweet passionfruit. Most are very sour. You have brightened my day with this short.

To brighten my day, I go outside. I also worked on my trip report. I get tired after about an hour, but it still makes me happy to remember.

I have my favorite Reddit pages that I look at if I need a serotonin boost. One of my favorites is called One Orange Brain Cell. It's all just pictures of orange cats doing silly things.

I sat in the living room, fixed my 1940s Ronson Pencilighter which has never worked right, and sat in the dark of the living room, drinking a grape Ne-Hi and listening to The Moth Radio Hour on the old "cathedral" radio while I enjoyed smoking my favorite pipe in my favorite chair with the kitties running round the floor.

(Well, someone had to try out the lighter!)

Went to Amazon Music and played a mix of some of the old songs I enjoyed very much when I was a teenager. Neil Diamond, John Denver, Barry Manilow, Engelbert Humperdinck.

I always sang along with their albums back then while rocking in a rocking chair.
It calmed me. Tonight, I felt nostalgic and made a playlist mix to listen to while looking at You Tube on mute with sub-titles about Peru and cultural lineage.
Great combo, right?
When songs came up that I liked in particular I found myself rocking in my computer chair and singing along again. Sitting in the dark with only a dim lamp and the PC screen. Enjoyable.

I went to the old botanical garden in Zurich and saw lots of spring flowers.
