Re: What did you dream last night?
That's not fun :-( Sounds very stressful. I've had violent dreams with people running after me or beating me up. But was only "killed" once in a dream that I remember. Stabbed on a bus. Many times I dream about my favorite brother...that we are together. When I wake up & realize he's still dead I get very shocked & sad. Sometimes I'll jump up only to realize it was a dream...

I've had a bunch of these dreams! I've been shot, strangled, drowned & stabbed to death in dreams & I've died in them-only to wake up in amazement wondering how I came back to life! THese dreams are usually very real & whatever is happening (getting punched out, shot etc. ) is very painful & terrifying. Sometimes, I'm just kind of sadly resigned to my 'fate'. Last night I dreamt I was at the beach with my husband. Since, here in QC, there are no tropical beaches, the dream did not take place here. I have no idea where we were. Even in the dream itself, I remember looking around & wondering where the heck I was. It was so beautiful that not knowing where I was did not bother me: it was more of a passing curiosity. The sand was warm & white & very fine (eliminates Cape Cod, Myrtle Beach & Old Orchard Beach plus all the dark or beige sand beaches...) & there were many others also on the beach, but they were far away. I was wearing my standard no frills black bikini & I was up to my waist in turquoise water looking into it, kind of mesmerized by the light glinting off of the waves. It was an extremely realistic dream: so much so that when I woke up in my room, I thought to myself, "HEY!!! This resort's rooms look so much like our bedroom!" (DUUUUuuuuhhh... so much for all my Aspie intelligence!)
