I can understand unfortunately pit bulls can be intimidating but I knew a pit bull named coop who belonged to my Husband friends and he was the sweetest dog ever and he seemed to like me and would always sit next to me for a pat.once I was in the pool and I'm not a good swimmer so I stayed mostly in the shallow side coop kept following around the pool and guarded me but sadly he passed away recently I went to see him the night before he was to be put to sleep due to stomach tumours I when I saw him he put his two paws on my hands and left them there while I visited him,he was a great dog and proof that not all pit bulls are aggressive or dangerous.Pit Bulls scare the heck out of me. I had some "questionable neighbors" move in next door a few years ago that had three chained up in their yard. They didn't use them for fighting, but rather as guard dogs; it was obvious that they were strategically placed. It was one of those households that had cars coming at all hours of the day and night. The largest would break its chain on a regular basis, so I never went outdoors unless I had my .44 strapped on. I was quite thankful when they were finally evicted.

It Sounds like cabin fever,my dog was the same after I'd been confined to the house. When I was younger my Grandparents had a Dalmatian that "turned" or lost his mind... Something?
He got to where he would block the door not to let us in the house. He would be all happy, and then the next thing he would be standing there with a low growl and his hair all bristled. He vanished... I think my Gramps decided that wasn't going to continue. I become very afraid of that dog and I think he sensed it, and he would just stand there and growl at me... He never bit me thank goodness. He would snap at me, but that was all.
