What does having a crush feel like to you?

I don't have enough mental energy to maintain many friendships at once, so I usually keep in touch with a few people at a time.
I have the same issue. I struggle to maintain two or three friends outside of my marriage, mainly because I know I’ll need people at some point in my life. If it were up to me, it would just be my wife and son.

I actually feel this way...

Reminds me of a Blackadder quote...
Prince George: But I'm in agony!
Blackadder: Well, that's love for you.

But we established in this thread that crushes are not always sexual, so having a non-sexual crush on another female isn't homosexual...which I guess means not heterosexual either. I believe what I meant was "a non-sexual crush" or "as a heterosexual myself it's a crush on another (usually heterosexual) female".
Agreed.

"Bromances" aren't sexual, as an example.
It is a platonic appreciation of another male or a male "brotherhood".
This happens whenever I look in the mirror, btw.

A bromance is a very close and non-sexual relationship between two or more men. It is an exceptionally tight, affectional, homosocial male bonding relationship exceeding that of usual friendship,[2][3] and is distinguished from normal friendship by a particularly high level of emotional intimacy.[4][5]

I stop seeing someone, but my crush never ended. I just realized they aren't helpful, and don't care despite a great deal of manipulation on their part. And l have moved on to a healthier relationship.
