My own theory, based on how I saw politics growing up in Australia. Essentially we have two parties, one that supports business and commercial concerns, and one that supports social concerns. Both of these concepts can cause great harm if allowed to devolve in to extremism yet we need both.I'm a "center/moderate in almost everything, and am (in the current environment at least) inclined to see merit in this viewpoint:

IMO that's a global dynamic that is completely out of control at the present time.Social media gave us a term for it - Click Bait. Some of them actually believe what they write, they must have such sad little lives.
That is all too common and doesn't seem to be specific to one sex or the other. I've actually seen "financial abuse" here in AF from NT's looking for our support to help them harm an ND husband that they're discarding.
I think trying to treat an ex-spouse poorly in divorce is probably split 50/50 (of the proportion of hostile divorces). What's changed over time is the "Family Court" systems, which are currently very biased in the larger Anglophone countries.That is all too common and doesn't seem to be specific to one sex or the other.
